Laurie Shaw, RMT
CMTBC Registration #3133 Laurie Shaw, RMT, graduated in 1992 from Sutherland-Chan Massage School in Toronto and is a BC Registered Massage Therapist.
Most of her massage career she has practiced in the sea to sky corridor, mainly Whistler, where she has treated a variety of sports injuries, overuse work syndromes, motor vehicle accident injuries and chronic conditions like headaches.
Laurie's primary technique is Neuromuscular Therapy with moderate to firm pressure. However, depending on a clients condition and needs she will vary her techniques and modalities to help offer the best treatment.
Her passions are travel and culture. She has lived in Mexico, traveled to Europe, South East Asia, Middle East, and many provinces and states in North America. She also enjoys the theatre, live music, skiing, and hiking with her dog Tango.
