Mary Etey, RMT, has been practicing massage therapy in Vancouver since graduating
from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 1996.
She is dedicated to lifelong professional development through continuing education
courses and study with colleagues. Her post-graduate courses include Myofascial
Release, Muscle Energy Technique, Strength, Balance and Stretching, Traditional Thai
Massage, Post Mastectomy Care, and Research in Massage Therapy. Her research
background in psychology assists in her analysis of research in massage therapy.
Compassionate and eager to be of service, Mary’s volunteer activities include treatment
of scar tissue for attendees at a convention for burn victims and assistance at various
environmental, sports, and community gatherings as an RMT and in other capacities.
In the treatment room, Mary uses her strength and acute sensitivity to facilitate a state of
peace and relaxation truly reflective of the clinic’s name “Serenity.”
